Hey Everyone it has been a while , A week ago, one of my white rocks hatched herself 15 chicks in a clutch she hid in my shed, they are all healthy and alot friendlier than their mom who came in the mail, The way I figure, a few diff hen layed in the same clutch, Roosters ( 3 ) all BO, and my Hens are RIR, BO, WR and RSL... these chicks are all kinda diff colors and I have another WR who hatched 1 out in the yard somewhere... but here is my issues, I have read on here how roosters kill baby chicks, and have watched for a few days now and this baby chick hangs with all the big birds and they never bother it, is there an age that roosters attack baby chicks or does it happen randomly
? now i have 15 chicks in my shed, mommy hen crazy protective... you cant get near any of her babys, but how long can they stay in the shed they will have to come out of there soon ? and someone told me that since I didnt know that this hen hid her clutch or hatched chicks... I can't count them in chicken math lol, that makes 67 imaginary chickens....
