I know, Lurky. It looks like a big scary place, but they were blocked at all. I checked all over that place for a chick and couldnt find it. Its not my fault she chose that woodpile to go broody in!

Nope Nope Nope! LOL, she's a Silkie X Game. Her mother was a big BBred Game hen from next door that decided to move into my coop and her dad was satan himself. The most evil Silkie I've ever met.

Evidently in that particular cross, the mama hen's genes were dominant. I see no evidence of silkie. So cool. I hope Brandy will carry the dominant gene when I breed her some day.
