My mom called her friend who raises chickens and asked for some information what we got was to let it get rest for a few days and put it in a dark environment.

Make sure it's not to dark or they probably won't eat or drink, since they don't see well in the dark.

Do you have a brooder with a flat floor.....and a heat source to keep them warm?

Also what aart asked.
