Congrats on your new chicks! As mentioned earlier, definitely get them outside and acclimated before winter comes. Switching from a heat lamp to a heating pad will help them adjust and grow feathers much quicker. I see you also have a rooster from your other post, so you may want to keep everyone on All Flock or Flock Raiser. That way there's no worries about the roo eating layer feed or at what age to switch feeds, and all birds get the benefit of a higher protein content which will help with nutrition over winter (non-laying months) and regrowing feathers after molting every year. Just be sure to offer oyster shells in a separate container to meet the hens' calcium needs.
