Thanks. The snow covers the still unfinished roof. It needs paint and trim. Insulation didn't happen either but the birds did just fine. There's so much room that they just elected to stay inside when it was cold and kept each other warm. The ducks had been living in their own dog houses but they chose to move in with the chickens. Everybody gets along just fine. We're covering the pen anyway because we have a hawk who attacked one of my Red Stars three weeks ago. He got nothing more than talons full of feathers, but that was just lucky on our part. If my son hadn't gone out to play the hawk would have probably finished her off. As it was it was still hanging around later in the day. No more free ranging birds here unless we are out working in the yard keeping watch.
