Steve, Sorry man, no plans. Just basic idea in my head and a few rough sketches as to how I wanted the right side to look as far as placement of nest boxes, horizontal windows, vents and clean out door at bottom. Then just kinda laid it all out when framing. Same thing with the front, door in middle with side lights on each side was my plan. Foot print is 6' x 10' with wall height at 7'. 10" overhang on each side and ridge height is 2 1/2' from top plate. Pretty much it.....just kinda winged it and then decided on the roof above front door to protect it and same with little "eyebrow" over back window to protect it. Originally was gonna do vinly siding like big coop, then went for a more rustic look in the end with shingle roof instead of metal. Alot more work, but like the look.

Wow and fantastic. You are a skilled builder. I build but need a basic idea before I get going. We will see when the time comes for me to get going. For now I have a sweet thing. Great job Erik!! Hats off to do that by the seat of your pants!
Hi all, Trying to keep the pictures coming but didn't get lots done today. Only worked on it a few hours as I went to help a friend with a plumbing problem. Did make some headway. Got all the fixed windows in...lots of work ripping down cedar to make strips to hold glass in place. Made the nest box doors, painted then ran to HD to get hinges, etc... got them hung before quitting for the day. FD tomorrow, so will get back at it on Friday. Keep checking in.
Erik
Might be kinda hard to see but glass in next to door on front, over nest boxes and one more on left side.
Straight on shot of right side showing doors finished on nest boxes. Just need to finish the "clean out" door below the boxes.
Interior shot of right side with vents at top, windows, nest boxes and clean out opening. Nest boxes will have dividers...walls will be covered with masonite and between rafters will get hardware cloth. Then roost and poop trays under windows. Still lots to do.
Dang - looks fantastic! And makes me think I should have put in a 3X5 fixed window on the south wall of my coop (I didn't because I found out I had a cockerel in amongst my pullets and didn't want early crowing). I may re-think that yet ... along with more venting. It's not like it can't happen
So glad you're sharing your build - you're doing an amazing job!
