We bought 8 chicks online, they were hatched in October. We bought some coop plans off of Etsy, and here is the almost finished product. We have a few mods to do yet as well as paint. But the girls are going to love it.

In our flock of 8 we have 1 silver laced wyandotte, 1 gold wyandotte, 1 welsummer, 1 Amerucana, 2 dominiques, 1 Delaware, and 1 New Hampshire red.

Do you have ventilation that is one of the most important things otherwise the coops looks excellent
Even if the eves are open, there needs to be some vents lower than the roosting poles so fresh non humid air can be drawn in as hot humid air rises and exits the higher vents.

I agree with other posters, needs more ventilation, also are you going to put tin or composite shingles on the roof? OSB isn't very good at holding up to rain, ice, snow, etc, even if painted.

Looks great, I do agree with the other suggestions.

So nice to see someone build and not buy those crappy cheap coops.

out of curiosity, how much did it cost in Materials ?
