Oh my goodness! If DH sees this....He's getting a new garden shed so I can use his old one as a coop with a couple of runs added. Now I'm thinking that I could even use some of his new shed like you did for a whole nother breed.

Oh he would not be pleased....

Should I put some kind of bedding on the floor? If so, what kind. I'm afraid that when I scoop the poop I will just smear it and make even more of a mess.

i think it looks great. you might want to consider pine shavings for the floor.

I have a bag of cedar shavings. Are they bad for chickens? I think I read that on here somewhere. I'm not sure if our farm supply sells pine shavings or not. Any other suggestions?
