When I went to the grocery store I saw that it carries the Walden Farm salad dressing, mayo, chocolate syrup, and peanut spread. My IP center charged $5 for the dressing and at the store it was $3.49! YAY... I tried the peanut butter and didn't think it was too bad. It will be good stuffed in celery, but do you have to use it to replace a snack? The chipotle mayo was really good! I actually tried it mixed in the creamy bacon salad dressing, and plan to use it in tuna tomorrow.

Yes the stores carrying Walden Farms much more reasonably priced.
definately let me know how that goes. Any new foods to change things up is a good thing.

Last night I did something a little different. I took my burger that I was going to eat and finely shredded in a clove of garlic. Then added about 1c of shredded zucchini. Added a bit of the sea salt, fresh cracked pepper, basil and oregano. I added about 1T parmasean cheese just to hold it all together. then I formed it into small meatballs and fried them in olive oil. Near the end I added 1c of chopped tomatos. It was like italian meatballs without the pasta. Thinking back I should have baked them instead.

Have you seen the new cookbook? I'm going to get a copy this week.
 
60 pounds gone now!

Gotta go back to that used clothes store I was told about and get some new pants. the 18 pants are not fitting too well unless I have my long johns on. LOL

Marcy if you are a coffee drinker or a tea drink stop drinking that while in Phase 1. It will slow the loss down. I found that out the hard way. I had stopped drinking my coffee in the morning and then started up again and the weight loss slowed down. So I quit again except for yesterday and today. It's so cold just needed something warm to drink.

That is not fun Debira. I know the feeling of getting hungry later. I wasn't really hungry around noon but felt like I was starving at 4pm.
 
I'm a vegetarian and crave things all the time- just eat other food you like, for example instead of craving my friends crispy ranch snackwrap at lunch, I eat fruit salad :) i get some looks.... hah

Hi, Herfrds (and everyone who is following this thread!)!

I have been a little out of the loop lately but wanted to thank you for your suggestions and support. I am hanging onto my one cup of coffee in the morning otherwise would spend the day with only one eye open. LOL

Last Wednesday I was down 13.2 lbs after being on the IP diet for just three weeks. Tomorrow is my fourth weigh-in, and I am pretty sure I've lost 3 lbs, maybe more this week. The counselor told me that they want you to lose 12 lbs a month, so I am already past that benchmark for this month and anything else is bonus lbs. YAY!! Seriously, this diet is really working for me. I have no cravings, feel totally satisfied, and so energized I can hardly believe it! Looking forward to buying some new stuff in regular sizes (not womens) in about 15 more lbs!

I'm so happy for you. Glad you are feeling so great. That is the best part of this diet.
