It works! 4" PVC 45 degree elbows, 4 of them total. We did have PVC tubes hung on the walls, with the opening angled slightly upward and they were still flicking feed out and wasting it. They have to really reach to get into the can and the waste has been dramatically reduced.
We're now using these for the grow out pens, once they're tall enough to use it during that growth period when they're eating a bunch. We sealed around the tubes with silicone since we didn't get perfect cut-outs.
