Early but surely I am getting the hang of incubating and hatching eggs. This is a second year time with only a handful of our appleyard's. I have one presently one day before it is due to hatch with a cracked shell. I can see the inside membrane and I can see the baby. Still moving but I'm worried with the hole that is in the outer layer of a shell. Should I go ahead and hatch it out or let it sit for another day to its proper hatch day?
I would not rush to assist.
