New Duckling Owner...

I know exactly what you mean...I came home with a Chihuahua that had terrible seizures. She was set to be euthanized that afternoon. When I adopted her they said she only had a few weeks/months to live. We were able to get her seizures under control and she lived comfortably with us for almost 3 years before she had a stroke and passed. When I went to get my chicks Saturday I was only supposed to get 4, I ended up with 8. It's a pattern with me:-)
Exactly how I ended up with 36 in my flock of geese, chickens and ducks. But worth it all. [actually if my dh didn't keep me in check I'd have more]

jenniemig, let us know if your ducklings come tomorrow morning please!

I am so sorry about the lost one and the sick one:( Does it look like the sick one might be able to pull through?

I'm not sure. I have been able to get him/her to drink about 20 drops of water with Quick Chick in it. She is peeping a lot, so I put a drop on her bill and when she peeps she drinks it. She is not able to stand. I'm watching her close and giving the water every 15 minutes or so.

You are doing the right thing. I hope the little gets better.

She didn't make it Finny. I'm going to bury her and her sister now. After I'm going to call the hatchery and just have them refund the money for the 2 to my sister.

The 2 crested ducklings seem to be doing ok. They're very active and are drinking and eating.
