Hi all I had a duckling hatch out 2 weeks ago and then had another hatch lastnight how would be best to introduce them as the older one is a lot bigger and worried he will kill the newborn. Thanks

around 6 weeks for the younger, they will be around the same size thenWhen would the soonest I could as the problem I have is they are getting lonely
I know, that is tough, you could maybe let them see each other through a screen or glass and see how they do?Thanks for your help will keep them separated then
The new one is tiny compared to the older one and the older one keeps trying to bite nibble the baby got them separated by a glass barrier see if they make friendsI had two batches of ducklings a week apart that I put together. The first were pekins and the later ones were welsh harlequins, so naturally smaller even as babies. The first several hours they were together I noticed a little bullying going on, with the pekins who were just a week running into the welsh and pushing them around a bit. I just stayed close and made sure no damage was done. By that night they were all sleeping together and I never had an issue after that. I can't remember what the size difference would be at two weeks - I know they grow so fast. Perhaps you could observe closely and see how it goes after your newbies are a few days old.
