New Ducklings Coming Any Day....

Another question, my female Indian runner has been sitting on her clutch for about 25-26 days. If any hatch they will be within days. I made a barrier to confine her and the ducklings from the chickens she shares the run with. My question is about the male Rouen which is the dad to the eggs about to be hatched. Does he need to be separated from the mom and ducklings too or do I confine him with them?

Yes place him in another area but not with the chickens or he may go after your hens to mate while his mate is rearing ducklings. Drakes can be known to kill ducklings so best to keep dad separated but where everyone can still see each other.
