New ducklings- odd looking neck

Hair or sting on its neck?

if it was the crop or food caught it would swell on the righht, the tube to the crop runs down the right side of the ducks neck. This seams to be all the way around its neck

Check its neck for a string or something around it

@swuthrich, that is a very strange swelling indeed. does it feel like air, water, or food?

It feels like if it had swollen a marble- not hard like one but that shape. And cartilagey/squishy
