I had a hen do that too....gave her up for lost. Then about 3 weeks later her she came with babies in tow...lol.

I love the look on the momma ducks face, she looks like she's happy and quite pleased with herself and her little family. Thanks for sharing, such a cute story and pic.

Someday I want to live somewhere that I can have ducks and chickens disappear only to show up with a ton of new babies. Nature is just so cool!

For some reason she doesn't scream Rouen to e. Maybe because of the bill, traditionally the hens have an Orange bill, and the males have an olive/yellow. Wierd. Is it possible she could maybe have a little bit of any other type of duck in her?
