New Emergency

Oh good! If you keep up measures like that thne I'm not too suprised that the rest of the flock is still acting fine!

One thing you could do is build him a sling of some sort. I would just get some fabric (that won't get static-y), cut holes in it for his legs, and hang it between two chairs or something. That way he can preen his feathers without falling over. I wish we had done that for Arrow

That's a good idea. He stays in the house much longer he's gonna get a bath lol. My boys are a little allergic to chicken dander. Not much but enough they start sneezing. I might have to build him an enclosure in the yard but fenced off from the main flock. I'm about to go clean the carrier and let him walk around in the bathroom some. Too bad I'm out of potty pads. Potty training my youngest boy now and they work great, and cheaper than the ones they have for kids.

If you were raising him to eat, I would just eat him soon. He's not having any decent life, but don't eat him if his insides look weird in any way.

He's no where big enough at this age. He's a Heritage Brahma and he wouldn't be ready for table until around 10 or 11 months. The oldest of this year's cockerels is almost ready. I'm thinking I'm going to have to euthanize him. I don't want him to suffer, and he doesn't appear to be making any kind of recovery. So probably tomorrow I'll just get in and do it. I hate doing euthanasia.

I'm sorry to hear this. I know you have been trying everything you can.
