same here, i have a trailer full young one, with a heater and heat lamp in it, and an incubator full of scattered hatches eggs which some are due tomorow, and a cage of young with a light in my house.
we figured it out if we loose power, and i really hope we dont, we have a fire place in our home, we will have to run and bring all my young in from teh trailer and pull all my tropical birds tooo all into the liveing room and start up a fire and hope it stays warm enough. now if loose power i hope itis when i am up and not sleeping!
And for teh incubator i will cover it with tons of towels, i have ben through that bad ice storm and lost power for 3 days and i covered the incubator with blackets and still had a couple of hatches.

Stay warm and be careful.
my family lives in salem, NH and 2 years ago when yall got the ice storm and lost power for days, well alls i can say is make sure your chimney is clean bc my parents lit a fire to stay warm and their house caught on fire 2 days before we flew in from hawaii with their 1 year old granddaughter - what a mess that was - we lived in a hotel for months and had to have christmas there.
boy am i glad to be on the islands right now!!!

goodluck everyone... i will try to send some sunshine that way

I don't know what it's like for you guys, but when our power goes out we lose our water pump (groundwater well). We keep water in reserve just in case, especially for the animals. I know you'll have plenty of snow to melt for water, but it's always nice to have a couple of gallons ready.

Hope you all are ok. Any time you want to send it back to AK, feel free to do so.

We're SE of Albany NY and so far 16" and it's still falling... no failures so far....thank goodness...

only problem that i see right now is taking the dogs out! toy poodles... i had to shovel and the snow was twice as high as they were...

I'm really wondering if my plastic netting top, is still notop of the run or caved-in... It made it thur last year, not sure about this yr.

The WINDS are whipping.... that's going to be a problem... it's still dark outside, so really can't tell how bad it is...

I LOVE snow.... and I like to shovel.... not love tho...lol
