New Feature For PFM's: Who's Posted & Viewed

I wanted to clarify. Are you saying you welcome the ability to see where someone is in the forums at any given moment? Is that the feature you're referencing? Or the one that allows paid members to see what I've viewed?

If so, how does it benefit you? Personally, it makes me feel quite uncomfortable and also cautious about what I choose to view.

No, I don't need to know who is viewing now... As far as I know, anyone who has blocked their info is still blocked to me. Just wondering who had viewed a thread I started. I was thinking of letting it die cause I didn't really get many posters Trying to discern if it was a benefit to anybody.

As far as who has posted and being able to go directly to their posts for info you need once again is useful to me.
Certainly don't want to cause any anxiety as I have a tendency to be anxious myself.

It's a list of who has viewed that thread, not a list of everything one member has opened. Anyone doing funny business would have to read every single thread on BYC to find out where you've been.

For me, I mainly utilize the who's posted feature, and as a way to find specific posts in a thread quickly.

Yes, that's useful. Thanks for mentioning it. I do look at the number of page views. I'm liking that feature. But I tend to be a lone ranger with the discussions I start, and yet I still enjoy them (antique chairs!). If I have something more to add, I'll go ahead and post, even though my discussions tend to be chicken ghost town.

To further clarify, I believe that viewers who have blocked that info should be excluded from the viewers list. Obviously if they post then that is different.

@Nifty-Chicken - I was looking at a thread that has 2k plus views, yet only about 10 viewers are listed? I see that some who have posted before you added the feature - but not since - are not listed as viewers?

The poster list includes all and the viewer list includes those viewing since the added feature?? Is that right?
