New flock member

@TwoCrows @orloffer @sourland thank you guys So glad I joined the community. I've been reading through the threads in my research on keeping chickens before I got my flock.

Any advice on why my girls are sneezing and what I should do would be really helpful as I'm struggling to find out what it could be.

I do have a local farm vet about 20 miles from me. I will give them a call. I don't know if the will see them due to the restrictions at the moment but I will give them a try. Thank you

AVC isn't going to cure sneezing.
Drives me a little batty that someone actually sold you sneezing birds with mites. That is horrible.


Is Permethrin available in your area?

Permethrin works!

Even if they can't see your bird at the moment, maybe they can give you some advice on what (if anything) you can do based on what's available in your area. Or maybe whatever they say will give you some peace of mind, that's worth something!

Thanks everyone for the very warm welcome and advice you guys are all super nice. I've phoned the local vets but there wasn't a vet available to take the call so they are going to phone me back. I'm crossing everything that's it's nothing to serious and it's easy to treat

P.s Is the permethrin to treat external parasites?
I don't think it's available for chickens here in the UK but I managed to get rid of the bugs pretty quickly with the treatment I used and haven't seen any signs of any more since. I will be keeping a close eye on it though.
