Thank you all for the big welcome! Thank you also for the great tips to bring down the moisture and smell. We have hard clay as our foundation (Welcome to Missouri!) and our run slopes slightly downhill and all the gunk has built up in the lowest corner. I think this weekend I may have to pull the top back from the run and clean out the gunk and lay some sand down. Should I layer some other material on top of the sand? How deep should the sand be? BTW: We are ready to candle our fertilized eggs tomorrow. Wish us luck!
