Welcome to BYC! A good ratio of hens to roosters is 10 to 1. Any more than that and the hens will be over bred, missing feathers etc. So you may need to get more hens :)

Feed the young chicks with chick starter, plenty of water and watch them grow. Keep them warm with some heat lamp (you can buy red bulb at Pet Smart). About 2-3 months, their real feather will start growing, this is when you can surely tell Boy or Girl.
