I did not have a heat pack in my box. I took it apart completely. I am still so glad they all arrived safely.

I have that one turken that is still not doing well. Got him to drink some sugar water, and ate only a couple bites of egg yolk. He pretty much just lays there and lets the other trample him. He has stood up and squawked a little. But not much else.

That is what is happening with my little polish crested. He is laying there, half dead, while the others step all over him. I keep giving him sugar water, but not much response.

Sugar water wasnt working very good, so I gave him a little of my crystal light. Then I boiled up 2 eggs, and tried to give him a yolk. He only had a couple bites. I gave the rest of the yolks to the others. They all loved it!

If I do lose him for some reason, I will be bummed. But at least they sent me an extra buff orpington (my 27th). I think that little turken is my only potential casualty.

It's never good to loose ANY babies, but the bright side is that all the others are well!!

Well I have to lift that little turken over to the water for him to drink. I put his nose by the food and he got one kernel but when he went to chew it, it fell out and he just laid back down.

I have a feeling he will be gone by morning. I thought about putting him in his own area, but i want him to be with the others. If he doesnt make it, i dont want him to be alone.
