O My goodness....8 days!! I'm so ready for them!! Can't wait till I get the call from the Airport telling me my babies have arrived!!

You get called to the airport? I have to go to the post office. I am getting more and more scared. So afraid they will be too cold, or worse, I could burn down DH's garage! ooooooohhhh...I think I think too much! Come sweet babies, come!

They get shipped to the airport. They will call me and let me know I can come there and pick them up or wait another day and they will ship to the local post office. Hmmm, do I go to the airport and get them or wait.....hahahaha. Airport it is!! Less than a week and we will be new chickie moms!!! They will be fine...

I had no problems last time with them.
BTW...please don't burn down DH's garage! lol He'll never let ya order again if that happens!!

Oh yeah, but Hey!, If I burn down the garage, that gives me an excuse to go to the local auction house every Saturday to replace all that valuable "junk" he has stockpiled out there! I LOVE AUCTIONS! I am even more addicted to auctions than chickens!

My poor hens...they had such a rough afternoon. My hen house is a large building, divided in two lengthwise. Each half has a "finished" nesting/roosting area. Today, the pop door from the Run section to the Nest area came unfastened, and closed. The poor hens were trapped out of their nest area. The food and water is in the run section, so not hungry...but they were just lost. I must have had 20 hens all piled up in the duck's "dog carrier" shelter when I went out tonight. I found eggs scattered EVERYWHERE. Those girls were SO HAPPY to get onto their familiar roosts!

6 days!! Anxiety...YES!!!! Can't barely wait to meet them! My daughter is coming over on Saturday to help make sure everything is ready to go! Still need to go to feed store to get a couple of things. Gonna keep them in the brooder in one of our spare rooms. Had to talk my DH into it, he finally agreed!! I need to remember how to post pics on this sight...so much to do, didn't realize...ugh.

OH shoot! I need to get a new computer so I can upload pics from my camera!
My machine was stolen and this back-up machine doesn't have a card slot!
But hey! my DH is a computer god...maybe he can install a port?

Isn't it odd, the plumbers wife fixes her own pipes,
the electrician's wife sits in the dark,
and the PC repairman's spouse has the oldest PC on the block!
I can't count the number of times my PC has been down
because he "borrowed" parts to "test" something for a customer! Grrrrrrrr

I guess we better get a move on things, hu? Tell your DH it's very important for him to fix your pc!! We need pics!!

All those things you mentioned are soooo true. My DH is a window cleaner and still we have dirty windows...lol I guess it really doesn't matter, we are out in the country!
