I lost another last night. A little Partridge Cochin.

I called McMurray because I have a couple more that are looking weak today. She told me to call back tomorrow afternoon with a final count and she would refund the money for those birds.

She was very nice about it. But I dont get why they were looking good yesterday, and aren't doing so hot today.....

Not good. I wonder why they look good one day, then look bad the next? Especially if they ere eating etc.

I am so sorry that you all are experiencing such loss. Feel bad that your little fuzzy butts aren't making it in this cold weather. Things like this make me glad that I didn't order and will be going to pick mine up just so that I don't have to go through this. I don't think I would make it if I lost any like you have. I know most of you don't live close enough to go and get your babies but I think I would rethink the time of year I would order next time. The ones that aren't getting theirs till Spring had the right idea. I know I am having trouble waiting and counting the days but after all the losses of so many little lives, it makes my decision even easier. I am truly sorry for each and every one of you and hope you never have to experience this kind of thing again. Best of luck to each and everyone who is ordering or has ordered.

Sorry for your loss Magoochie, I lost the crested polish last night. It was hard to try and keep it alive all day, then watch it pass- as all the rest trampled it, slept on it= it was a hard death to watch.
All the rest seem to be doing fine. Not calling McMurray yet as they sent an extra. Hope we all have a better day.

I think I am going to loss another one. hand fed it yolk with sugar water but it is just so weak. I feel horrible, I will never have eggs shipped this early again.
