Thanks, and I agree but it hasn't been cold enough. Maybe next weekend I think its supposed to get cold. Pea combs aren't a big deal but big fat straight combs ideally try to get a cold day. If it's warm they just bleed so much.

Hard to see but he and his brother have great station. Thier streamers are also coming out nicely. I'd like to do 2 breedings this season. One of the original brood pair and one son to mom. Whenever 2 weeks is after the female starts laying. I don't plan on hatching and grey eggs so if yall know anybody 100.00 a dozen shipped plus extras. Half down non refundable if the buyer pulls out. Hate to do that but like puppies everybody wants them till it's time. Chicks are pick up only 100% down when the hen sets. Prices for chicks by private message.

Yeah, if you get them young (6 months) you can trim when it is hot. But at that size I would wait for cooler temps. Good luck with em'.

I'd prefer to trim them older than younger. i dont like when they weren't finished growing and the comb gets that bump after it still grew a little after

Bought some eggs on eBay last year from a breeder that listed the eggs were random from all his different brood pens, hatched out 6/12 and kept these 2 for myself. I’ve been trying to figure out what line they are but the breeder doesn’t wanna help since he/she’s “too busy”. I was wondering if maybe y’all can help? *The posibble lines are: Loyce Derouen Cardinal Club Kelso, Stuart Yellow leg hatch, Gene Batia Golden monkey Sweater, Johnny Moore Albany, Lacy Roundhead. Let me know if more info or pics are needed, thanks.

They're good-looking birds. There is really no way to tell exactly what line they are without the breeder's word.

I would be very cautious of all this. All the names of some big time gamefowl sold as eggs on eBay is a giant RED FLAG to me. And to be honest they don't look very good to me. Like how the tail Is carried and the general structure of the bird. I wouldn't put much faith in having what you have been told, sorry but it is what it is. I'm not even going to give my opinion on breeds. But stick with breeds that have yellow legs and wheaton hens. And being too busy to assist any after buying top notch birds just doesn't happen with honest breeders

They look like somebody graded something in way back in the line. With the low tail and dewlap the hen has.

Honestly they remind me of my Krainkoppe Malay cross boys. I found a *old* photo of them.
