New Goslings

Got my American Buff pair from Ideal this morning. I realized as soon as I opened the box that they were tufted. Was disappointed at first as I've never liked the tufted look. When I ordered them I wasn't told that they may ship tufted, and no indication on the website that they even had tufted. Oh well, maybe it will grow on me. Very cute and sweet goslings.

Would they look normal with a hair cut?

I've never been thrilled with the tufted look either, but then, I wasn't thrilled with the naked neck look, and now I think they're gorgeous. Besides, with geese, there's no way not to love them.

That is something I think Ideal needs to address on their website, though.

It's hard not to like them, they are cute. I'm sure I'll get use to the tufted look. At least it isn't as big on geese as it is on ducks. It's supposed to be around 70 tomorrow. Think I'll take them outside for the first time and see how they do. I'm just excited to have geese

That fuzz on the back of the heads is normal for young goslings. If it was a tuft, it would be more obvious.
