New guy here. Need help on coop

Sounds to me like I need an A frame coop. And that concept is nice but I’m in the middle of town and can’t go much bigger than a 6x8

Don't do an A-frame... you end up with a lot less head space in the coop due to slanted walls, and no good way of protecting the open sides from rain.

Yes. That's why you need those big roof overhangs, awnings, and why any windows should be top-hinged.
