Hello there

i have 9 months old new Hampshire chicken and they did not lay egg yet , are this normal ? some people says they lay when they get to 1 year old

I would suggest posting a pic of your chicken... According to the Meyer's Hatchery website, it says these guys should start laying anywhere from 12-16 weeks, which seems really early to me. Additionally, depending on where you are in the world... the time of year could effect egg laying. If your in the US, for instance, with the days getting shorter, she may not lay until next spring.

But, I would really suggest posting a pic of your chicken so we can see if we spot anything wrong with it.
