I'll have a Buff Brahma Bantam young rooster at the NAS meeting today. I can't take a roo in trade though- that's why he'll be at the sale is we can't have any roos. He's been breeding the hens a couple weeks now. Great temperment. I'm only asking $5 but may give him to a good home if he doesn't sell by the end of the sale portion (10:00 am).

I'll be there with:
Buff Brahma bantam roo (cockerel)
2 blue silky crosses- either pair or two pullets and ready to start laying
Serama cockerel- red/brown ready to breed
OEG cockerel- buff color, sweet and ready to breed
plus a "A" frame chicken tractor or chick house

Tammie

Thanks Tammi, I can't make it to the NAS meeting today. I am really looling for a lf Brahma but would consider taking him if you still have him after today.
Send me a pm if he doesn't sell and maybe we can set something up as I do have two banam Buff Brahmas also.
Cheryll

I think the auction starts at 11:00 but I would get there early like 10-10:30 to get a parking spot and be able to check out the cars going through.
They drive the cars through the building and stop for people to bid on them. You are able to walk right up to the car to check it out. So you can pretty much tell how good they run. I believe they have a website with a phone number so you can get more information on the auctions. Now is a good time to go too because people will be getting their income taxes in and will drive up the prices when bidding.

edited to change the times.

Ok, we got a price for fixing the van, it is worth it, labor is only $225.00 and junk yard in worc, if they have th eright transmision will only be $220.00 so thats not bad at all. Man i was thinking it would be crazy high.

I checked out that website, they have good prices on the online auction.

I take that back, cant find a transmision on our own, so they want $900.00 plus labor AHHHH

Holy crap, you can probably get a good car at the auction for that much.

Woo Hoo can't wait.
I already have the bator going, now I have an excuse to keep it going.

i've had 2 broody hens and the bator going! 4 already hatched out this past week with one girl, 6 eggs waiting under the other broody, and about 13 eggs due to hatch this weekend, more hatching in a couple more weeks! my dh is getting feisty about the hatching eggs and won't let me bring any more in to put in the bator.

but i will have to hide from the dh if i can't sell off a few hens/roos first!

edited to add: anyone interested in a few laying pullets? i have 1 mottled houdan, 1 wcb bantam polish, 2 bantam partridge wyandottes. i may do a pairing with a curly silkie cockerel with a straight feathered sizzle laying pullet, they are unrelated.
