New Hampshire!

I'm in Candia, with a Morgan mare, a senior male Aussie, 3 cats, 4 Ameraucanas, 2 Barred Rocks, 1 Cuckoo Maran, 1 NH Red; 2 rescued roos, an EE and a Lakenvelder. I lost my favorite Silver-laced Wyandotte :( and am looking for another (adult). Would appreciate any leads.

Check out Brentwood Poultry. I spoke with David over there about getting some Wyandottoes from him this year, but his hatches were too much of an age difference than I felt comfortable with introducing to my flock this year. I don't want to post his email in a public forum, as I fear a spam bot might acquire the address, but if you're interested in contacting him just shoot me a message and I can pass along the info. If I remember correctly, he had several different breeds of laced wyandotte, at least when I spoke with him a few weeks back.

I am in Chichester nh and I have 3 silver appenzeller spitzhauben Roos free if anyone is interested. They r 3 months old and learning how to crow. They r from cackle hatchery

I would consider how he treats you too I hate having a mean rooster...

Minnesota still here...I can't bring myself to move as close as you guys are to New York or Washington DC yet....:lau:lau

I have a way I try to change a mean roosters attitude it works fairly well. Cage him so he can see out but not see another chicken very often or at all. Isolate him. After a few days visit him 5 minutes a day. It is amazing how they will attach to you, and if you pet him. Love him by holding his head down and not letting him move. How well they will bond and learn to be subservient to you.

And if it fails you send him to freezer camp. Either way problem solved.:thumbsup
