Heh, I know folks in the DCA who have driven several states to pick up good Dominique stock. Mind you, I'm still only a couple of years into the breed, so I wouldn't say mine are worth driving several states for. Not yet, anyway. But if it's Doms you're after, there's a breeder who may be closer to you over there, in Mont Vernon. I drove two hours to his house a few weeks ago to pick up some hatching eggs!

I hate to do it but if you have a girl Pekin and want to swap for a boy that would be great! But if worst gets to worst I'll have 2 pekin to sadly give away. I wanted at least 1 female and they both are drakes. They were a gift for Easter and have since gotten their curl. I hate to let them go but DD wants






it to be profitable or gone. There a lot of work he didn't want to see them come into the house in the first place but my youngest son 22 had to have his own way. Someone, please help me w/ this. To top it all off, I answered a guys posting in NH for 2 sizzels girls and 1 boy, he needed to get out of his home by 15 days said the town. Well he came all the way up here from Salem and when he said it was 2 boys! What could I do, have him drive all the way back w/ 1 boy! PLUS, I lost 2 girls to a raccoon so I found a BYC member in Norway Me and she sold me 2 Cochin stating that 1 laid 3-5 a week and the other also. Well that was the 13th of June and they still have not laid! They are not molting, not broody cuz they love to go out in the tractor to enjoy the day. They can not lay Willy Nilly cuz their always in safe keeping. She claims they were born 5/18/12. So now my DD is saying it would of been easier going to KFC! Don't get him wrong he's just upset. He doesn't have the heart. And today one of My silkies born /3/3 started to crow, so I have 5 silkies and 3 are cockerels. Out of the ones born on 3/3 (there were 5 of them) 2 are cockerel's! The Black Australorp started to crow at 7 week's ( if you would call it a crow lol) And I bought a GLW cockerel from that same lady. But I wanted King! Soooo, now I have 7 boys and only 4 or less is all I really wanted. So Please St. Anthony, when I ask you for some help you seem to come threw for me. I need it again and I don't want my boy's on somebody's table, If it's meant to be, pls. don't tell me .

just don't ask too many questions
i have gotten a group of free roosters before & ended up using ONE in my breeding program
i couldn't feed the rest all winter so they had to go off to camp.
after all i can't feed 50 roosters till they all die of old age
