Wakefield here! I'm looking for 4-12 female Mille fleur d'uccles. I lost mine yesterday in a tragic accident and now her mate is alone. I would like chicks so I can hand raise them to be as social as mine was, but am not opposed to older girls as well
Thank you very much

On craiglist I think someone is selling Mille Fleur D'uccles. I think its listed as chicks chickens and hatching eggs in webster. I might be incorrect though. Sorry you lost your chicken. Good luck in your search.

This may be an odd question and not chicken related. But does anyone in Southern NH know how to identify Maple trees in the winter. I really want to make my own syrup and my DH just bought me a maple syrup bucket and a tap and a book on it. But I dont know how to find a tree. Id love help if someone was willing.

Hey, new person here from New Hampshire! If you have a minute, feel free to take a look at my new person thread and tell me if you have any favourite chicken breeds for our area....

As for maple trees, my husband went around in the fall and found the maples by looking at their leaves. I'm not sure if it's possible to tell them apart by bark alone. You need to distinguish sugar maples from red maples, as red maples need even more sap per gallon of syrup,

I dont breed at the moment but I do have Easter Eggers and Olive Eggers in my incubator if youd be interested. Im in Derry NH. I also have two 2 week old EEs in my brooder if youd like those also in the brooder are five 2week old Dominique mixes.

Come Spring I will be breeding Olive Eggers, Marans, Black Sexlinks, and Japanese Bantams.

Are dominiques as sweet as barred rocks?

I have EE chicks, and will have Marans next month. I am near Claremont, NH.

Claremont is within driving distance for me. I would be interested in both. I have room for 5-6 more hens. Possibly a roo. My roo was beat up pretty bad last night by two Toms. The Toms have been sent to the butcher after that incident. I will have to wait and see how he does if I can have a roo.

I was conducting a few test hatches of my English Blue, Black, and Splash Large Fowl Orpingtions. I have 4 straight run chicks of various ages and colors. Must take all 60.00 Can view pictures of my flock on my facebook page Renie's Peeps.
