New Hatches Due May 6th, 12th, 17th. Anyone else?

We have a lot of people in this hatch. I'm going to candle on the 10th day. I'll be glad when I have more incubator skills under my belt. Reading is one thing but doing is something else, again second hatch. My spot check is reading 99.8 - 99.1 Good luck everyone.

I'll be in too I set 17 black copper marans Friday already had to toss 3 weepers so I'll be looking at them after 10 days they are hard to candle and they went in with my bourbon red turkey eggs that I set the friday before so they could be hatching buddies. I have another batch of eggs going into lock down tonight I hope they hatch out good.

I'm ready for another incubator! I really don't think I have enough eggs going!

I put all my eggs in today. I am a few days behind everyone. The temp was 99.6 and humidity was 46% does that seem right??
Now I leave them alone for a while... ?? Still new at this as well.
I am pretty sure I do not candle them until the 7 or 8th day? Please let me know if there is anything else I should be doing?

we got our eggs from McMurray Hatchery.. it was a Heavy Assorted Straight Run... I think there is a mix of different types some of these..
Australorps
Brahmas
Buff and White Orpingtons
Rhode Island Reds
Black and Red Stars
NH's


Do you all know if it is harder to see inside the eggs when candled if they are brown???

I set on April 3rd. Eggs from Superior Farms.

Buff Orpington LF
Buff Orpington Bantam
Buff Wyandotte bantam

and from a local breeder Buckeye Bantam.

Using a Genesis 1588 w/turner.

So, has anyone done any candling? Out of 37 shipped eggs I have 18 still going. 10 mottled and 8 frizzle. I think I let my mottled eggs sit too long. I received them on a Monday and didn't set them until Thursday because I was waiting on the frizzle eggs to show up. I didn't even let the frizzle eggs settle for 24 hours. They came in at lunch time and I set them all that evening. I did order some more mottled though....... I don't think 10 will fill a chip bag!
