New Hen Laid Liquid Egg With Red In It - Help?

Sorry if this is already posted somewhere, but I searched and couldn't find anything about it. I found the eggs with no shell topic, but this is a little different. I am new to owning Chickens. We just went today and picked up two Light Brahma Hens that are supposed to be six months old, and three chicks. The chicks are in the house under a heat lamp, but I put the two Light Brahma hens in the coop. I went out to the coop at dark to put them in and lock the door so they would be safe, and when I did I saw one of the hens had laid a very strange egg. The eggs didn't seem to be formed. It wasn't just a "rubber" egg like the pictures I saw on here with no shell or a soft like shell. This egg wasn't all the way formed and it was like it had shot out early, so to speak. There was nothing but liquid and no shell at all. The yolk was there, but not all the way formed and there was very little of the clear liquid. It also had some red in it, either blood or some kind of tissue. Does this mean she is sick? or could it be due to stress from the move? They had about an hour ride in a pet taxi in the back of my truck, and they had a 30 to 45 minute drive from the people who met us so we could pick them up. One of the hens seemed alright with the ride and move, but the other one seemed very scared and shook up. I strapped the pet taxi down and tried to keep as much wind off of them as I could. I hope I didn't do something wrong that hurt her?

I would wait and see what happens tomorrow. I occasionally will see a egg with little to no shell.....more of a rubbery type thin membrane. I believe this can happen when a hen first starts laying, or if trauma/stressed. I believe I read that its that the egg was "passed" to quickly and didn't get the final shell coating. It usually will go away after a couple weeks with a new laying hen. If it I stress related, it should go away after a day or two.

I would also make sure there is oyster shell available to them in case they didn't have any available previously.

Thanks. They haven't laid anymore eggs yet, but I haven't seen any other issues.
