new hen with 1/2 a beak. How do I keep her healthy?

I tried the nail clippers too when I got her after some saying it would be ok on the forum here. It bled and worried me, so I just left it alone. She has adapted very well with it longer.

Here's a picture of her last year when I got her.

One of my girls was in a fight earlier this spring with a coon....at first day light....I let her out and got the SOS call from my kids a few moments later....I was heading to work...

anyways, My girl is rock'n today! She has literally NO beak....its almost completely gone.

I hand fed her for awhile but now she has adapted to her new beak....and she does pretty OK!

I keep a tarp on the ground and always let Tillie out first when I arrive home....I pull the cover back and loads of crickets are usually bouncing around...she get em after a few tries but over all does well!

Chickes are purty tuff imho....
