New hens sitting and walking weird

I suspect my new adopted hen has a broken leg or something because the people we got them from were very rough with them and she would freak out if anyone comes near her and her bone that goes right down the chest moves and sounds like it crunches her nails were SUPER long but wore down a little with being outside for a while she sits with her legs going different directions unnaturally and walks weird any clues on what it is??

Poor thing, looking at her bare back lets me suspect that she was being mated too often and maybe too roughly by one or several roosters. Perhaps even by roosters that were too heavy for her, which can lead to dislocation of the femur.

You can trim back her overgrown nails using a nail clipper, but be careful not to cut them too short the first time, as you might hurt the quick.

If a vet is an option, an x-ray could help to determine the cause and help with the necessary treatment.
