Thnx for the recommendation, local is very slim Pickens as im in a small town. Our tractor supply is a very small store so not much to offer. We have one breese farm but they only offer straight runs. I dont wanna end up with multiple roosters I can't get rid of. I'm gonna try some online places you mentioned

You are going in eyes wide open. RESIST! It really is for the best. The last thing you want to do is overcrowd your setup.

I have had good luck with Meyer Hatchery.
 
Welcome to the coop! I use the Forums and Articles tabs at the top of the page to do research. You can get lost for hours. It's nice to know you are minutes away from getting help with questions and emergencies! I always check in the "What's New" section as well at the top of this page. This way I can read how I may have a similar question or help give some advice.
 
Ok I ordered sum black australorps but didn't realize they didn't have any and won't have them any time soon. I just figured they would be like other sites I checked and say not available or something along those lines. Have to wait till October to be mailed out. Very disappointed, but you live you learn. I got some ayam cemani thats supposed to be mailed out next week. I got a straight run with those in case I want more later so I dont have to pay an arm and a leg

I took your advice and went with cackle hatchery. I got my babies in today and they are too cute 😍. All are very healthy looking very active so very happy with them and I ordered 5 fem and 1 male of the lavender orpington and they sent me 8 total so thats awesome. So now I have my lavender orpington and ayam cemani now waiting on my black australorps but they won't be here till October. So thanks again for the recommendation 🤘👊🤝
