A little about myself. I am a stay at home mom with an assorted zoo. I have two human children ages 7 and 12. One dog, and several cats. Been married for 14 years to a man who grudgingly puts up with my animals. The newest additions are my flock of assorted breeds and crosses of chickens and ducks.
I have 6 Khaki cambell/malard ducks we think it is 4 hens and 2 drakes. An assorted flock of chickens 3 Rhode Island reds, two cornish rocks, several easter eggers, barred rocks, a couple of black have no ideas, and two polish. We had chickens growing up and I had no interest in them. We got chickens due to the expense of store eggs and it went uphill from there. I am -pretty new to the whole raising chickens things and sadly it has cost several chicks their lives. But we think we have it under control now and my flock is stabilizing. Hope to learn much more from this site and help the health of my birds develope.
