Hello! We just got chickens in April, and recently moved them to their coop 2 weeks ago! They are loving beig outside. I am pretty sure one of my hens is really a rooster:( so I have to get rid of him, as we cannot have roosters where I live.

He is 2 1/2 months old, and I do not want his life to end so abruptly! Anyhow that is what's going on in my hen house for now :)

Welcome to BYC! I hope you are able to easily rehome your young roo.

How many chicks to you still have?

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. X2 on your bird pictured being a cockerel. Sorry. :o( Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in re-homing your cockerel.

Thanks everyone! I am hoping to regime him in a good home! We live where we can't have roosters. Once he is re homed we will have 5 hens left. We bought the 6 of them together (sexed, because I knew if I did straight run I would end up with all roosters!)
