My mother and I live here on 10 acres close to the river in front Royal Virginia. We are interested in getting a small flock of chickens to raise for eggs mostly and for meat as well. We would like to get some rabbits and also a couple of beehives for our property. Any pointers for any of this would be so greatly appreciate it! We are just starting out on all this and would greatly appreciate any help or advice. Thank you in advance!

I am envious of your 10 acres. Hopefully, one of these days I can have a farm as well. My girls are truly back yard. We do live right against a hill though, so we only have neighbors on each side.
