New Hornady Zombie Loads

I've looked at those, and DANG they're expensive! Used to be cheap from what I've heard. I'd love to have one, but overall I'm a rifle guy anyway.

Still, 30 rounds of 00 buck is nothing to sneeze at.

Yea, supply hasn't kept up with demand at all, so the price has shot through the roof!

Actually, I think there's some idiot law on the books prohibiting importation of foreign-made assault rifles and semi-automatic shotguns.

The all-Chinese MAK-90s have already been in the US for a while, and most other AKs have US-made parts in them. One notable exception is Inter Ordnance, which makes AKs with 100% US-made parts, and they're very affordable. While I'd like to buy all-American, I've heard that they're as bad or worse than WASRs as far as quality control goes. Too bad, since they're cheap, polymer furniture, and have NATO length stocks.

They make bigger drums..... Just sayin..

PS, just to put it in perspective, I pay close to 5.20$ for 20 rounds... so to empty a drum I am spending close to 26 per drum for play time..... Expensive hobby, but cutting bad guy targets in half is ohhhh so fun. Thinking of selling off some of my excess 30 round clips though

JD - any AK will take 75 round drums, but if you're gonna get gratuitous firepower, go for the 150 round drum.

Boyd, I though milsurp was cheaper.

Fire off more than 80 rds. rapid fire and you risk a cook-off! Go up over 120rds. and most hand guards can burst into flames! By the way I've experienced cook-offs and they are not funny! On a more positive note I scored some Bulgarian and Romanian mil-spec surplus! SWEEEEET!!!

Amigo, what is it with you and the P-90?

It seems like an OK gun, but I'll take a rifle any day over it. When you get right down to it, it's just a super-compact gun that shoots a really nice pistol round - and if you're into that kind of thing, just get a Kel-Tec Sub-2000 in 9mm or .40 cal, since the 5.7 w/lead core isn't all that special, and the Sub-2K is a LOT cheaper. Unless it's the TRUE P-90 with a short barrel and full auto fire, loaded with steel core ammunition, in which case I'd LOVE it. Civilian version is a PS-90, only lead core is legal, the barrel is longer, and it's semi-auto only.

Flaming handguards funny, cook-offs not funny! Hey I've got this idea about converting a uzi sporter to .357 Sig. Muzzle velocity should be in the 1600-1700 fps. range with 124gr. loads. It should be closing in on .44 mag. energy levels. What do you think?
