Just wanted to share what, I think, is a really great idea!
My DH is covering our hen run with snow fencing! It looks like a pergola, it's strong and sturdy!

He installed "beams" and is securing the snow fencing on top of that. Run is 6 feet tall.

Once EVERYTHING is done, I'll post pics!

Wow, that's an awesome idea!

We have 4 huge rolls that are sitting down in the front along the property line. I was wondering what the heck we could use them for.

I can't wait to see pictures.

There are *SO* many good ideas here.

Great idea i used it myself, it worked until the nice little raccoon chewed it's way through.

Plastic fencing works great until you get a predator with sharp teeth, then well it is like nothing is there at all.

I think the OP may be talking about the old-time snow fence, which is the thin wooden slats wired together. I have 4 big rolls of it, and it would have a "pergola" look if it was installed over beams.

If that is the situation then it should last forever, we still have some of that old snow fence on the farm. It covers a small area but it has been there over 40 years. Older than i am
