Just got my first batch of babies. 8 little EE. Trying my best to make them less petrified of me before they go into their coop.

Can you try sitting near them and pretending to ignore them? If you don't move they may start investigating you. Or you could have some treats leading up to you - if they want them they have to come closer.

I'm sitting very patiently...tonight for an hour. They screech and try to fly out of the brooder to get away. I tried cabbage and boiled eggs but they seem totally uninterested...even if I leave it in their food, they pick around it.
