New incubator I need help!

My eggs are only shifting not making a full 180 turn.Should I hand turn them or will taking my lid off ruin the whole process? They have been in for less than 24 hours but I’m worried!

If your egg turner is not working ,take it out and turn them by hand.

I can see the turner moving I just don’t think the eggs are.

I just incubated ducks for my first time. I hand turned at least 3 times a day, usually 5, and removi ng the lid for this didn't seem to cause trouble. Have just hatched 7 out of 10 eggs, maybe more to come.
