We do have a system, however, we investigate and do not issue warnings etc without getting all sides of an issue. If you don't report the problem, then we can't do anything.

BYC has a mostly hands off policy in the BSA. We have a feedback system and we do look at complaints, but it is a very rare thing to remove or alter feedback.

We expect all parties to work toward a resolution and only after all parties have exhausted all ways and means will we consider stepping in.

We do not moderate on a "he said she said" method.

WELL I TRIED

Great solution, Nifty. I was wondering, about "questioning moderation", though. What if I asked, say, "How fast do reports get to the moderators?", or is the rule simply for asking questions negatively? Thanks!

Right. We LOVE helpful and friendly feedback that is meant to genuinely help our community. The "questioning moderation" rule applies to publicly posting stuff like, "I just got a warning from a moderator about swearing... that's the dumbest thing ever!"

The BYC moderators are open to receiving criticism of our rules and/or how we enforce them PRIVATELY, but like many other things, it should be done via PM.

If you have an issue with a person may you send them a PM stating your feelings (in an adult manner)?
