Are you telling me that there is no appeal process?

You can always contact a moderator, of course. And that is what we always want in lieu of starting a public thread about a private situation. As far as an "appeal process", there is no actual process, per se, but further discussion is fine. My meaning was that infractions, or their reversal, are decided as a team. One moderator does not go over another moderator's head.

Seems pretty basic. With such a large forum population I've been pleasantly surprised with how little snark there is, how much help and support is offered and how few trolls there are. Thanks moderators!!!

Thank you Nifty and Mods for all the work you do to keep this a great place for "fowl talk' and NOT "foul talk"! Being a "flock manager" here has got to be trying at times and I, for one, thank you for doing what needs to be done.

There are a few other forums(non-chicken) that I used to go on frequently, but they have gotten to the point that no matter what the original thread is about someone will attack someone else. Many times they attack people that are not even on the thread. The saddest part about the whole thing is that the serious or pertinent threads get no responces and the threads that disrespect people go on forever.

Coming to this sight has been very refreshing. It is nice to be able to post or respond with out having to worry about people ripping on you for the slightest mispelling or misphrasing(ie. using roo instead of Cockerel for a young cockerel).

Thank you moderators for all the work you do. I feel I can safely ask questions here without worring about personal attacks or back biting on other threads.

I would like to see other forums see your example and flatter you by coping it.
