Hi All - I don't want to re-home my rooster but I can't have him share a coop right now (he is a cockerel) with my hens anymore for the time being because he has no idea how not to harm my 5 hens. If anyone in the northern NJ area or nearby NY or Ct has moved away from keeping chickens and wants to sell or get rid of your coop/run - it might be a way for me to keep my roo until he gets a bit more mature or until such time as I can get a few more hens.

Check Craigslist. You could also keep him in a dog crate in the coop at night and let him free range out of the coop during the day if all else fails, making sure he can still access the food & water.
