Just thought I'd say hi. I grew up in Cherry Hill. No, we didn't have chickens. It was pretty suburban. I had to come to CA to catch the fluffy butt bug.

Just a reminder that there are still lots of towns and cities right here in New Jersey up for grabs in the BYC Chicken L.O.R.E. Project!

This is a massive undertaking, and everyone is encouraged to participate! Your knowledge of Chicken L.O.R.E. will earn you GFM Scratch, which are good towards new GFM Memberships, Membership extensions, or Membership gifts.

Remember - you don't have to select a city in New Jersey - cruise the selection list and choose any city still available!

I live in Long Branch on the Jersey Shore near Sandy Hook National Park, I have 20 hens - no roos allowed. We are a small city. My neighbors love mine, you would never guess I have chickens in the back yard!!
