Oh no, I wish. This is a picture I found online. I want to get a picture of "my" turtles. I take care of my school's turtles (same species as the one in my avatar, Diamondback Terrapins) so they are kind of mine. I am hoping to take one, or two, or three home to take care of for the summer.

That would be pretty cool. I remember wanting to take home the class hamster, never got the chance though.

I have a totally non chicken related question. My dear, sweet, lovable, 18 week old lab puppy, ate my incrediball hydrangea sapling down to the ground. ( what a good boy)

Will it grow back? I know that you are supposed to leave the branch for new growth but now there is no branch left ( none, zip, zilch,) will it be able to regenerate , and I will be able to one day enjoy my incerdiball?
Also does anyone want a Chocolate Lab puppy?

My school has about 25 turtles though, and about 100 hatchlings, so there is a good chance of someone taking them home. Plus, only the people who passed a test and take care of them daily can take them. Some people end up having to take more than one home because not everybody can.

Is that a joke about finding it a home? Lol??

Yes, I am kidding, we love him to pieces!! We know this is just typical puppy behavior, and it will pass. We also should have given him acceptable chew toys when in the yard. However between the puppy, the two year old child, and the 8 year old beagle, somedays I want to give all three away.

I should it he didn't destroy the roots. Don't give up on it puppy or plant

Ben's doing well! I actually ran out and got him a buddy - Blaise, for the little white blaze on his head. They are just about the same age. Still having some "who's the big-bad-rat" issues, so I have a separate cage that I used for a couple of days for them to sleep apart at night, but they are together now. Figured it was best to get a buddy before he decided it was "his" cage. Here's a pic - Ben on the left:
i never had a rat. They appear to be like chickens where you can't have just one :celebrate
